About Draft Challenger

What this is

Draft Challenger is the all-time sports draft challenge — six sports, one game. Every round spins a real franchise era (a city and a window of years), lays out that squad with real season statistics, and you build the roster seat by seat. Then a full season simulates, and the record on the board is the verdict. A perfect season is meant to be rare: roughly 1 in 20 finished runs goes the distance.

How it’s built

Everything on a card comes from the public historical record, and every player-season is judged against its own era, so the fifties and the present day can share a board honestly. Teams appear as city and years only. The method is public: how the ratings work. The game itself plays in the browser — no install — with a new shared board every day.

Corrections

This is an independent project built from public sources, and history is detailed. If a stat or a fact looks wrong, tell us at help@draftchallenger.com and we’ll fix it — the judgment improves as the record does.
