Questions people actually ask

Answered straight

Play the whole ride — the offers, the farewell, what comes after. The full college football career simulator runs every season against the real record book, so you finally see how your career actually reads.

What is the college football career simulator?

A whole college career played in the browser: a recruiting spin out of a real high school path, Signing Day at a program, then season after season on campus until the choice at the end of them — use the last year of eligibility, or declare. Every season is thrown against the real FBS record book.

Can you really play five years of college football?

Yes — five playing seasons is the real limit, and a redshirt year is what stretches them across six on campus. That is the shape here: Signing Day puts you in the program for a first season, five more follow, and the last year is a decision rather than a formality. Take it and you add a season of production; declare and the board judges what you already did.

Which position do you play?

Quarterback, every run. The passing line is the corner of the college record book with the deepest real marks to chase — 62 touchdowns and 5,967 yards in a single season — so it is the position where a simulated season can be measured against something that actually happened.

How does Signing Day work here?

Your high school path sets the interest, and Signing Day resolves it into one real program with its conference attached. There is no draft in college, so this is the moment that decides the ceiling of everything after it — a program with a national title window asks different things of a quarterback than a program rebuilding around one.

What do the five chapters mean?

One college season each, age eighteen through twenty-two, following the first season Signing Day already put you in. Each opens with a decision — develop the arm, take the transfer window, chase the record book — then plays out and hands back a stat line, a conference finish and whatever hardware the year earned.

Can I transfer to another program?

Yes. The mid-career decision is a real portal window: other programs make offers, and taking one moves the rest of the career to that school with its own conference and its own expectations. Staying is also a choice with consequences — continuity in one system is worth production, and the record book does not care which jersey the yards came in.

Are the college records real?

They are the genuine FBS single-season marks: 62 passing touchdowns and 5,967 passing yards. Your best season is counted against that ladder, so a receipt only appears when the career actually clears a bar somebody really set. Nothing is scaled to make you look good.

Can I win a national title?

A national title, a conference title, All-America selection and national player of the year are all reachable, and none of them is handed over for showing up. They come out of where the seasons actually finish, which is why the program you sign with and the year you choose to stay both matter.

What happens on draft night?

It is the last chapter and it closes the story rather than scoring it: the college career is already graded when you get there. You choose whether to sit in the room and take the call or watch it from home, and the finished card records the college body of work either way.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

Free, no install, no sign-up. The whole career runs in this tab, and the link in your address bar is the save — reload it and the same recruiting spin, the same program and the same seasons rebuild exactly as they were.

How long a career does the college football record hold?

The archive runs from 1920 to the current season, so a simulated career is measured against the real span of the sport.

What marks a great college football career in the record?

Consensus All-American, Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award among them, accumulated across seasons rather than won once.

How rare is a hall-of-fame college football career?

1364 figures hold membership across the sport's whole history.

Is a great college football career one huge season or many good ones?

Many. The record rewards a level sustained across seasons more than a single year at the top of it.

How does a college football career usually end?

Selection and availability decide it at least as often as decline does.

What is hardest to sustain across a full college football career?

Availability — the seasons a player misses shape a career record as much as the ones they play.

What happens where the college football record is thin?

The card shows what the record actually holds for that season, and a gap stays a gap rather than becoming an estimate.

Can a simulated college football career go badly?

Yes — the simulation follows the record's own shape, and the record is full of careers that did not arrive.
