How does the NBA team wheel work?
One wheel holds all 30 current franchises, fifteen from each conference. A single tap spins it with cryptographic randomness and eases out onto exactly one club — equal odds for every segment, every time.
Can I use it to pick a random NBA team to rebuild?
That’s the classic use. Spin once, take whoever lands, and commit — for a rebuild run, a "new team to follow" pick, or a group challenge where everyone lives with their spin.
Can I spin without getting the same team twice?
Turn on "no repeats" and each result leaves the pool for the rest of the lap. After all your included franchises have come up, the next spin resets the lap. Excluded teams stay excluded.
Can I spin only Eastern or Western Conference teams?
Yes — uncheck any franchise in the team manager and its slot leaves the wheel completely. Use East or West to work through one conference, or trim the field to your own shortlist.
What happens after the wheel picks my team?
The real game starts below: draft that franchise’s all-time greats seat by seat and watch a full 82-game season decide whether your five was as good as it felt.

Is the NBA wheel weighted toward better teams?
Championship history gives no advantage here. The spin draws uniformly from the clubs you have left eligible, so an excluded franchise cannot win and a used one waits out a no-repeat round.

What does an NBA spin actually tell you?
Nothing beyond the name. The judgement happens on the board below, where a season carries its real scoring and playmaking lines plus All-NBA selection — the honours being the part that survives comparison across eras of wildly different pace.
Can the same NBA team come up twice, or is it elimination style?
A repeat is possible in the default mode. For an elimination draw, enable “No repeats until every team is used”: a club that has landed stays out for the rest of that round. Once your included clubs are exhausted, the next tap starts over.
