How to play — Soccer
You are drafting an all-time soccer roster from real eras. Then the season plays out — and it does not care how famous your picks are, only how good those seasons actually were.
The board
11 seats: GK · DF1 · DF2 · DF3 · DF4 · MF1 · MF2 · MF3 · FW1 · FW2 · FW3. Attack and Defense both count — one weak seat drags the whole projection. You fill the seats in any order.
The rounds
11 rounds. Each spins one real era and lays out that squad with the real numbers on every card. Take the player you trust, seat them, move on. At least one legend era per run, no era repeats, and the sequence is decided server-side. Two re-rolls per run — spend them on dead boards, not decent ones.
The season
38 games, then a 0-round playoff gauntlet — a loss there ends the run on the spot. Run the table and it’s 38–0. The ladder:
- IMMORTAL — 38–0. The perfect season.
- DYNASTY — 29 wins or more.
- CONTENDER — 21 or more.
- PLAYOFF TEAM — 15 or more.
- MEDIOCRE — 11 or more.
- DRAFT BUST — the rest.
Ratings are era-fair — every season is judged against its own peers, and the receipts are printed on the card. The method is published in full: how the ratings work.
