Countries and honours. A square crosses the country a player represented with a title or an award — the World Cup, the European Championship, the Copa América, the Ballon d’Or, a Golden Boot — or with the position played and the decade played in.
Not yet. The recorded club histories are incomplete for too many careers to ask about a club fairly, so club squares are held back; countries, honours, positions and eras carry the board.
