What conditions show up on the WNBA grid?
Franchises first, then the draft — the round a player went in and the decade of the draft — the position played, and the league’s named awards: MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP, plus counted All-WNBA selections.
Which milestones appear?
Four hundred games and five thousand career points: round totals counted across a whole career, not only with the franchise a square crosses.
Are draft rounds used?
Yes. First-round picks and second-round picks are each a condition of their own, and a draft decade means the decade of the draft, not of the debut.
Which basketball players can you use on the WNBA grid?
The recorded WNBA pool, which is the smallest here — one league, twelve-odd franchises and a shorter history than the others. A small pool makes the squares tighter, so a crossing often has only a few right answers and knowing the rosters beats knowing the stars.
Does college basketball count on this board?
No. Every condition here is about the professional career — the franchises, the draft, the position and the league’s own awards — so the school a player came through is not something a square will ask for. A college career of its own belongs to the college basketball grid.
How does a long WNBA career become a square?
The league is young, so the thresholds are lower than elsewhere: fifteen seasons is a landmark here, ten is a full career and five already clears the average. The Hall of Fame is the other whole-career condition, and neither counts only the franchise the square crosses.
